Who we are
Purva Disha Foundation is a registered charitable trust working for the welfare and upliftment of communities through education, healthcare, environment, women empowerment, cultural development, and social awareness.
Registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, the foundation operates with a strong belief that social change begins when every individual gets equal access to opportunity, dignity, and guidance.
Our journey began with a simple vision — to bring light and direction to lives that need support the most. Over the years, Purva Disha Foundation has organized various educational programs for children, health and sanitation drives in rural areas, and initiatives for women’s self-reliance and livelihood. We work in close coordination with volunteers, social workers, and partner organizations to ensure our programs reach the grassroots level where they are needed the most.
Culture and art have always been at the heart of Indian society. Through live and digital cultural events, we aim to support artists and diverse traditions while spreading social awareness among people. Music, art, and storytelling are powerful tools to inspire communities, and we believe these can bring harmony, education, and positive change.
The foundation also engages in the creation and production of educational and awareness-oriented films, songs, short films, and audio-visual content. These creative efforts are made to educate people on important issues such as health, environment, gender equality, and human rights.

Purva Disha Foundation – Objectives (Category)
1. Education & Academic Development
- To promote general, technical, non-technical, legal, and teacher education.
- To establish and operate schools and colleges at primary, secondary, intermediate, graduate, and postgraduate levels.
- To provide education and job-oriented training to make youth self-reliant.
- To assist talented and meritorious students (India & abroad) to access higher education.
- To establish coaching centers for competitive exams (Medical, Engineering, Banking, SSC, PCS, IAS/IPS, etc.).
- To provide free education, hostels, meals, and resources for poor, SC/ST, and backward students.
- To organize educational awareness programs, training, and counseling sessions.
2. Skill Development & Vocational Training
- To provide vocational training in stitching, embroidery, weaving, painting, electronics, mechanics, typing, shorthand, computers, fine arts, music, etc.
- To establish centers for fruit preservation, bakery, small-scale industries, and driving training.
- To provide facilities such as classrooms, libraries, hostels, meals, transport, and sports grounds.
- To encourage youth skill development through various workshops and training programs.
- To promote rural industries, dairy, silk, poultry, beekeeping, duck farming, and other livelihood training.
3. Social Welfare & Community Development
- To eliminate gender, caste, untouchability, religious, and community-based discrimination.
- To promote equality, social harmony, and upliftment through training and awareness drives.
- To establish community halls, dharmashalas, public toilets, clinics, libraries, and reading rooms.
- To run counseling centers, community centers, and public welfare institutions.
- To assist the poor, orphans, elderly, and marginalized communities through various programs.
4. Health, Medical Relief & Awareness
- To provide awareness, preventive measures, treatment, and information about diseases such as AIDS, cancer, TB, malaria, polio, hepatitis, etc.
- To establish medical, dental, paramedical colleges, hospitals, clinics, and health centers.
- To establish free de-addiction treatment centers.
- To organize health camps, vaccination drives, and hygiene-awareness programs.
5. Women Empowerment & Protection
- To ensure proper representation of women in all Trust schemes.
- To establish women protection centers and reformation homes.
- To provide financial, legal, and welfare support for women.
- To run programs on prevention of harassment, violence, and discrimination against women.
- To offer vocational and livelihood opportunities to women.
6. Child Welfare & Special Needs Support
- To support mute, deaf, blind, physically or mentally challenged children through free education, rehabilitation, hostels, meals, and clothing.
- To run children’s welfare programs (Anganwadi, Balwadi, learning centers).
- To encourage talent through art, cultural programs, competitions, and sports.
7. Environment, Plantation & Agricultural Development
- To promote large-scale cultivation of medicinal and herbal plants.
- To promote tree plantation drives and environmental awareness.
- To encourage cultivation on government, semi-government, or private land.
- To improve agriculture via awareness, modern technology, seed protection training.
- To organize farmer education camps for scientific agriculture.
8. Arts, Culture, Sports & National Integration
- To promote cultural activities, fine arts, music, painting, drama, and traditional arts.
- To produce educational films, short films, street plays, and documentaries.
- To organize sports events, training camps, and competitions.
- To promote national unity and solidarity through integration camps.
9. Disaster Relief & Emergency Support
- To assist people affected by disasters such as flood, drought, fire, earthquakes, plague, cyclones, pandemics, etc.
- To distribute food, clothes, medical aid, temporary shelter, and relief materials.
- To work with government agencies for emergency rescue efforts.
10. Government Schemes, NGO Partnerships & Collaborations
- To execute schemes sanctioned by Central or State Governments.
- To work with UNICEF, ICSDO, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Social Welfare, Backward Class, Minority, Youth and Family Welfare Departments, etc.
- To collaborate with NGOs, government bodies, and institutions with similar objectives.
- To receive financial support from government and non-government sources.
11. Infrastructure & Rural Development
- To construct and maintain potable water systems, toilets, drainage, roads, culverts, wells, parks, community buildings.
- To create training halls, playgrounds, yoga centers, and medical units.
- To undertake housing or construction projects through the Trust.
12. Administrative, Legal & Operational Powers
- To conduct surveys, research, and any activity required to achieve Trust objectives.
- To establish Trust branches in different districts or states.
- To acquire loans or assistance from banks for Trust activities.
- To provide information and legal awareness on Panchayati Raj and consumer protection.
